We hear talk of deficiencies, indication of reservoirs and aquifers drying up, and, of course, plenty of people who simply don’t know or don’t care. But forget about us.
To prevent water solutions from drying up, our approach ensures that the energy and resources contributed by volunteers and donors result in sustainable, participatory water systems that meet the long-term needs of communities. We work directly with locals to equip, train, and support the continuous flow of clean water.
Today, over a billion people don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water. That’s one out of every eight on the planet. Think about it. Water: It is at the root of a daily crisis faced by a billion of the world’s most at-risk people—a calamity that threatens life and destroys livelihoods on a overwhelming scale.
